Anyway, I disagree -- with the exception of Shawn aka Dumbo, they're pretty smart, Rex and Brady in particular. Their emotion (concern for Philip) trumped their intellect in their decision to take on this mission, but I have to give them their props for bravery.
As for Sami -- I certainly wouldn't take her as an authority on anything! She told her own mother and grandmother they were whores -- do you agree that she's correct to use that term for Marlena and Caroline?
Why pick on Shawn? Everyone on the show is a dumb A** right now. I can't think of one character who has their brain intact. Reilly has destroyed everyone.
Yes, she did call her grandmother a whore. It was in Salem Place in a dress shop. Now that Belle lays on Marlena that her mom would never be unfaithful, we'll probably have another 14 years with both daughters calling their mother a whore. Besides being a sick SOB that likes to watch and record everyone having sex not to mention controlling who they have sex with, Reilly also likes the idea of every woman being somewhat of a whore. He's about as sick and perverted as it gets, and he exhibits his illness increasingly in his writing over time.
