I hate to admit it, but I love him. He is totally cheesy, but it somehow works for him. I have never really liked him with anyone but Isabella, though. I agree, it wouldn't be Days without Drake as John Black.
OMG I do like John Black!! I remember going to a car show as a teen just to see Drake and get his autograph when he was playing Roman lol. I agree somehow it just wouldn't seem the same without John no matter what or WHO he is doing lol.
I agree about him being totally cheezy. To me it adds some comic relief when he's trying to be serious. It wouldn't be the same without him. I have to admit. I am a "closet" LOVE John Black fan.
I hate him for many reasons, but the main reason would be that HE NEVER DIES!!! I just wish for once, that he would die a HORRIBLE death (he can still come back from the dead of course...after a few months anyway), I don't get why every character, even ALICE HORTON, has to always die, and John NEVER dies, I know he's a "hero" and all, but give me a freakin break!!!
I also don't know why he has to have sex with all of the women on the show that he has NO CHEMISTRY with!!!
The only people I can tolerate him with is Sami, Brady, Belle, Bo, Abe, Roman, and that's about it.

Now, when I was in highschool, my best friend and I had this science teacher who could totally pass for John Black's twin. He was so hot.... (think of John about 14 years ago). even though I never saw him after I graduated, I am sure he looks alot like what Drake looks like today.
