The return to 2.4, 1st started with the wife swapping

June 24 2005, 6:51 AM

No, I'm not surprised. Corday and Reilly are ever faithful to their belief that the "perfect" conflict for fans to watch is nonstop mate infidelities and mate swapping. They feel that if they throw in a few sensational, shockers like the serial killer or McCartney's wife appearing on the show, these teasers will spike a continual prolonging of interest in the ongoing misery of the main characters. Bad guys never pay, and good guys never win. To add to this misconception, the so-called good guys have become so manipulated and tainted as characters that they don't even seem good or worth rooting for anymore. If there's no one to root for, why should fans watch? The bottomline is, the fans aren't watching. Why bother? It isn't worth the misery.

DAYS Ratings

I think it's hilarious that DAYS' ratings continue to drop. I am so sick of the nonsense JER is writing. Lousy writing + Tons of useless characters = One Lousy Show! I hope DAYS either wises up and cans Reilly or is forced to go off the air!

They tied their all time lowest ratings. This isn't the first time they have gotten a 2.4

The first time was right after HoJo and FauxMar sex, it stayed at 2.4 for a few weeks until Jack and Marlena came back and then they shot up

Im glad the ratings are down. i hope they keep dropping. they dont care how unhappy the fans are, so why should we care about the ratings? days, reilly, and corday all can go to hell.
