(1)Bringing back characters I love to give them NO appropriate story. (Or no story at all)
(2) Bringing back characters I don't love to give them a useless or detrimental story.
(3) Anyone in the way of Bo & Hope or Jack & Jennifer -- Reiley just don't mess with what works!!! We love the bantering, adventure seeking (almost realistic, dare I say) couples!!
(4) Not taking advantage of what you have -- crazy stuff that could lead to great stuff (aka Chelsea hates Billie, yet admires Hope; Jack and the other presumed dead dealing with life -- really could have explored alot with Maggie, Doug, etc. already)

Amen, again, NBC thinking Reilly is a genius is scary. For I fear it will be the cancellation of DAYS, and this is a show which in a few months will hit the 40 year mark. For it to die after so many wonderful decades of great stories and wonderful characters, and for the actors and crew to lose their jobs because NBC is too stubborn to listen to fans is scary and sad.

I totally agree with all that you have said, especially the Reilly one. NBC even brought him in over Corday! Now that's scary. I'm also afraid that 40 years will be the end of Days! They could do so much more...
