After Mickey chooses Maggie next week should the restaurant stay Alice's restaurant or should Maaggie
change it back to Tuscany? Or should Maggie make it a different resturant? I think Maggie should either change it back to Tuscany or a different restaurant.
I Hope Bonnie does not get her way and gets to keep the restaurent.
she should get to keep Alice's. It is a very popular and upbeat spot and Tuscany's was boring. Maggie can open another place....besides, I don't see Bonnie going quietly. Mickey likes her, he'd want her to have Alice's, don't you think?

I say change it back to Tuscany or convert it into a different restaurant. Alice's (no offense) is cheap and tacky (in my opinion), just like Bonnie Lockhart. I used to liked seeing my favorite characters dressing elegant and heading to Tuscany. Then again, I loved seeing them actually getting some real sunlight and breathing fresh air at Salem Place but that set has been destroyed, too, just like the show.

...I love the atmosphere of the place. I don't find it tacky. It's a place where a lot of country artists can be featured, I hear that Trick Pony will be on this month so they want to continue to feature ****ry artists which is good.
The new Shania video reminds me of Alice's. It's so fun and everyone's dancing and having a good time. It's entertaining.
That's not to say that I don't think Maggie should have Tuscany back, but maybe she can re-open at another location. There's room for both Alice's and Tuscany in Salem.
Well, I hate the Country Music take over of DAYS. There is other forms of music. Alice's was pathetic from day one, no class, and it was so pathetic how all the folks in town would go there and wear stupid, corny cowboy hats and dress like rejects from HEE HAW. The Cheatin' Heart was a better dive bar, it was not corny, and was much more real. Alice's was like a stupid theme bar, fake, silly and boring.
I just hope that Bonnie is outted for the golddigger she is, and she takes her idiot son and leaves town. Mimi can follow -- or if not put her on recurring and just be a set of ears for Belle.
I miss the 80s when several times a month the Salemites would go out to a good restaurant and meet, socialize, date, or lament not being with their true loves.

DOOL is not a platform for discovering new country acts. It is out of place and out of line with Salem. It is tacky with a capital "T"!! There is nothing sophisticated or refined about some dumpy ho-down bar. The Salem elite need to get back into character and pretend this hill-billy nonsense never occurred.
