Where does he get off saying to Sami "if anything happens to her i'm going to hold you personally responsible"..technically it was his actions that caused Marlena to panick, come downstairs, and ultimately fall.......
Yes and for a guy who is so sensitive to his wifes feelings why didn't he ever listen all the countless times she tried to talk to him about Roman being the father.
The wedding was kinda strange too. Kate and John spent more time together that the bride and grooms.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Sami fan...but I think it was great that John finally stick up for himself and give Sami a taste of her own medicine. Sami was the one to start fighting in front of Marlena in the hospital. She caused Marlena to get all excited and go into cardiac arrest. So, of course, John would lash out on Sami. He just found out his wife is pregnant with her ex-husband, and Sami is rubbing it in her face. I think he had the right to say something that he probably regrets.
Again, I love Sami and am not the biggest John fan...but I think it was justified.
If he didn't say it first Sami most certainly would have said it to him. I think it's great he got the first word in. It kind of leaves her speechless. Or should.
Well whether or not John would be right if they were any two people I won't get into, but for a man who CLAIMS to have a father's love for SAMI he sure is an idiot.
A real parent (and yes parent does not mean DNA contributions) would NEVER want their child to feel responsible for the illness or death of someone they love even if that person were responsible to some extent.
He proves time and time again (like the way he told Sami Caroline was dead) that he does not have parental love for Sami. (I am not sure the writers of this soap write parental love well, but that is another issue for another time.)
I think John deserved to tell Sami off. It is her fault that Marlena lost the baby. I would have said it to her too after the way she was rubbing it in John's face about Roman being the father. At the penthouse at least John didn't lash out at Marlena. I would have punched Roman out too. Although I am upset about the way John acted in the hospital. The lack of emotion when he was talking to Marlena really bothered me.
