“Are you ready yet?” Mimi asked her best friend Belle. There was a party at a girl named Taylor’s house. She just moved to Salem and decided to try making friends by throwing a party. Her mother is a psychiatrist and is working with Belle’s mother so they have met briefly. Of course, Belle is now taking forever to get ready, judt like always.
“Okay, I’m ready,” said Belle and she emerged from the bathroom wearing a pair of tight, black jeans; a white tank top with a silver heart in the middle and a black jean Jacket. Her long blond hair was down in loose curls and her makeup was natural. Belle’s look was casual, but hot.
“You look great Belle. Can we go now?” asked Mimi impatiently.
“Yeah, lets go.”
“Hey Shawn. Everything okay?” asked Phillip.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t it be?”
“You just look kind of nervous,” replied Phillip.
“That is because I am going to tell Belle how I feel about her,” admitted Shawn.
“Well it is about damn time,” was all Phil could say.
“Do you think she feels the same,” asked Shawn.
“You are soooo clueless. Of course she does.”
“Really?”
“Really. Look there she is,” said Phillip pointing to the door that Mimi and Belle just opened. ‘This is it. I am going to tell her tonight,’ thought Shawn.
Belle looked around the party. There were people everywhere who seemed to be enjoying themselves. She felt like someone was staring at her and she turned her head to see that it was Shawn. She smiled at him and he smiled back. Oh god, that smile of his. Just his smile made her feel like fainting. Belle walked toward Shawn and Phillip and Mimi followed.
“Hi Shawn. Hi Phillip,” said Belle in her perky voice.
“Hey Belle,” said Shawn.
“Um hello. What about me?” asked a slightly annoyed Mimi.
“Sorry. Hi Meems,” said Shawn with an apologetic smile.
“That’s better. Hello. Hey Phillip.”
“Hey Mimi. Hey Belle. Would you like to dance Mimi?”
“I would love to.”
Ever since Chloe and Mimi broke up and Chloe started dating Brady Mimi had a thing for Phillip. It was obvious that Shawn had feelings for Belle so she decided that it was time to forget about him. Phillip was always so sweet to Chloe even though she didn’t deserve it and he was so caring. Mimi thought that he was the perfect guy and has already fallen head over heels for him. Since she will be starting her senior year next week, Mimi thought she needed a boyfriend and Phillip was the perfect choice.
“So, Belle. Would you like to dance?” asked Shawn. ‘Please say yes, please say yes.’
“I would love to,” replied Belle.
‘Thank you god,’ thought Shawn as he led Belle to the middle of the dance floor. When they got there a slow song began to play and once again Shawn was thanking God. Now he would get to hold Belle close and there was nothing he wanted to do more, except maybe telle her that he loves her and hear her say it back. Shawn wrapped his arms around Belle’s waist and she snaked her arms around his neck and they began to sway to the music.
