It has been brought to my attention that there has been another flagrant disregard for the good auspices of the EDA.
It all came about after the Steelers "infamous" skate off during the Storm presentation of MOM on Wednesday night. A neutral hockey fan, and EDA member, who shall remain nameless at this time stated that to stop all this kerfuffle and pointless arguments , the home team should have the MOM presented first. Nothing more was said.
Within 24 hours , a posting appeared on ITS, stating that it would be a good idea if the home team was presented with MOM first. Signed Reverend Richard. Due plaudits were posted by various parties congratulating said Reverend on his idea.
No mention that the idea actually came from another EDA member nor any credit made to said person.
As there is a precedence set here. EDA V Hitchy where Hitchy was found guilty of stealing ideas from somebody elses web site, I move that the Reverend Richard be charged with a similar offence.
With the blessing of the members I propose that the trial takes place just prior to the AGM on the Saturday of the play offs.
This is such a serious charge that I feel that I must step down as judge in the matter and hand over to the erstwhile Mr Scuffham to do that honour.
With that in mind I shall be prosecutor in this instance. Any volunteers to appear as defence council for the accused please post here by the Monday prior to the play offs . If no volunteer is forthcoming, a defence attorney will be appointed by the court.
