I don't know Cindy but she has always been most helpful. She and Darren Keith Woods always provide valuable insight to singers. I thoroughly enjoy reading whatever they post b/c I KNOW it will help me when I venture out to my next audition or competition. It is always helpful when those hosting the auditions are more than willing to give insight into their preferences. The only thing you should be saying is THANK YOU.

The thing that really disturbs me is the double edged sword you have going on. You don't think it's appropriate for Cindy to state her opinion but it's ok for you b/c you don't represent a professional organization. Actually you do. You represent yourself and you are your own company in this business of opera. Every time you write something on this forum you are advertising your company, you. You are the manufacturer and distributer of your voice and the language you chose and the rhetoric you resort too are a direct reflection of how you wish to be perceived. If everyone on the forum is against what you're saying perhaps it is you who have overstepped your bounds. NO?
