Response to ok...

You do never know what will happen. I did my first MONC at 22 and was given an Encouragement Award, I think $500. I was a little sad I didn't move on, but I got to put that on my resume, deposit the check and walk away knowing I was on the right path. At 24 I tried again. Had a little nervous attack and didn't sing so well, so there you go. I look forward to doing it this year with more confidence under my belt.

One suggestion first though. Make sure you have been attending your regions finals every year. I went to watch for 3 years before I auditioned, making sure I felt that I could have been up there, or at least in the semi-finals.
