Response to Met Audition Question from Young Singer

I'm in the same boat - 22-year-old dramatic soprano considering the MONC auditions. My voice teacher would really like for me to do it, and I also think it's a very exciting possibility. One question - while I understand that I should avoid taking on challenging literature before I'm ready, I do sing a lot of Wagner. I know I'm young, but my voice loves Wagner - it's not hard for me to sing and I don't feel like I'm pushing myself or my voice. (Frankly, I have a tougher time singing certain Mozart arias.) My voice teacher and I both feel sure that, if I ever have a career, I will sing mostly Wagner roles. Do you think it's all right for me to sing Wagner for two of my five arias? Thanks for your feedback!
