There have been several books on how to do this. I would check the addresses/fax/email for all the agents and houses but you should be able to do most of that online. It's not worth hundreds of dollars unless you are independently wealthy.
It's been a few years so I'm sure details have changed. But I don't think you have to pay someone to do this for you. You will need that money for travel expenses.
