Long Island Opera announces open auditions for all roles for Verdi's LA TRAVIATA (sung in Italian) in concert version and for future productions TBA. The production will take place in June 2010 at the Southampton Cultural Center conducted by Artistic Director John Mario Di Costanzo.
Auditions will take place on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on the following dates:
December 6-7, 13-14, and 20-21. Pianist: Audrey Saint-Gil

You may audition for a role in La Traviata or be heard for a future production.
Long Island Opera:
- mounts concert productions with chamber orchestra after a two-week rehearsal period.
- has plans to provide compensation for all roles.
- will hear both managed AND unmanaged singers.
- Please be aware that there is no compensation provided for housing, travel or any other expenses.
- All roles are open and it is our policy to double cast in all roles.
