He isn't around town much, but if he is around, he would be a good person to try to connect with for a coaching. I don't know how to contact him though. I just know several people who have worked with him and have been very pleased with their work together.

Ellen is one of my favorites. She is not only terrific, but very supportive!

Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.

He lives in town, but does a lot of work in companies all over the country. I love his work, think he's an amazing teacher and coach.

If she's around. I believe she's on faculty at Mannes (or else a regular guest instructor/director?) and used to be at NYCO a lot. She's a brilliant director IMO, so I imagine she'd be a great coach.

Martha Collins is incredibly helpful and creative. I've watched her work at the Florence Voice Seminar, as well as at NYU and Sarasota Opera, and she gets the best out her singers. Arias and presentations come to life from the inside, as do the characters in the productions she directs. She also LOVES the art form.

Have to agree with Cindy...my daughter and I had the honor of auditing one of her libretto classes at the Martina Orroyo summer program last month...She was very supportive of all the participants there and I saw a great deal of improvement in the students in just the 1 1/2 hour lesson. She is very lively/fun/knowledgeable. You could probably contact her through this program if you have trouble finding contact information.
