it's currently being tested. But in the meantime, suck it up and DO IT!! Just not before or during your period. I had mine done 2 weeks ago and instead of 4 films, they took 10. And they said to expect a call back. And I can't take NSAIDs of any kind due to a past issue. So I definitely feel your pain.
Small price to pay for prevention. My coworker's identical twin sister has stage IV breast cancer, and is, at this very moment, in intensive care at Mass General Hospital. She's young.

You are right though. If the nads had to be squished, surely they would have found a pain-free way to do it. Look at the advances in prostate cancer surgery (which saved my dad's life, and I am thankful, don't get me wrong) compared to girly surgeries. Search my threads for those issues.
Go to a digital lab if you can. They will know right away if they have to retake images.
