I'm looking to stay for the summer and part of the fall in New England, and would like someone to sublet my room in the meantime. You will have my room to yourself, and will share the 2 br apartment with my lovely roommate. He is a 30 yr old operatic tenor with a miniature dog named Luciano Pavarotti.
The room is furnished, and has an exercise bike for your enjoyment. (If you feel the bike crowds the space, I'd be happy to throw it out for you. I rarely use it!!!! LOL. )There is a closet with ample room for all of your clothing. Our apartment has hardwood floors, is air conditioned, and has two new lovely couches in the living room.
Utilities are NOT included in the price, but you can negotiate that with my roommate. We have DVR HD cable w/ HBO and high speed wireless internet. We are at 193rd St. in Manhattan (west side), near the A express and 1 local trains. There is also an M98 express bus which will take you to Grand Central in approximately 45 minutes during peak hours. We are a short walk to the Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park. It's so great for hikers and joggers!!! Also, there is plenty of parking in our neighborhood.
We will require a security deposit of $800, payable back to you when you move out. Your room will be secured when we receive your deposit. We would also like to meet you or video chat with you before deciding anything.
This is a great place for students, singers or professionals looking to move into the city. The room can be available until November 1st, but my plans are rather flexible.
