If she set a precedent of paying the same amount for several months (years?) and then all of a sudden pays less, you might be able to take that to small claims court and have her justify not paying her regular full amount.
The judge MIGHT agree that a precedent was set, but really, without a written agreement your case stands a good chance of losing and not only would you then have lost the money, but also your time.
