Response to I found this ...

That so many people make the speculation that this may have been caused by the weightloss surgery alone, and no one knows the details, however, being someone who has been very close to having a wife get the procedure of weightloss like measha's studies did prove an enormous amount of side effects well into years after the loss.

Some of the things bariatric surgeons don't discuss is the side effect this kind of dramatic weightloss encompasses. One of which is where patients with a pre-disposition to hypertension can actually make matters worse after the surgery, and not immediately so ..... it can actually be quite a few years. I read patients who undergo this kind of drastic weightloss are more prone to further health complications within 5 years of the surgery than people who opt for the natural loss progression. The common risk is people who assume extremely active lifestyles after fighting a lifetime of obsity place the body in a stressful position after they lost the weight if done un-naturally. It can actually place the organs in a stressful state as the outside has changed but the inside has not had time to catch up with the physical demands one is placing on internal organs. This issue in particular has many symptoms which one could speculate is the main reason for measha's surgery.

The internal body especially needs a drastic amount of time in small segments to lose its weight and adjust as it goes along. I attended a "clinic" at a hospital in NYC this week, on malpractice issues (in which I specialize) and was told by a very well known Otolarygologist "dramatic weight loss effects the Thoracic muscles severly, we do not know why exactly, however, we do know it causes a domino effect in other regions of the body as well"

now I asked this as my wife is WW and it was a side line question as she has pondered with the idea of surgery before but after having access to reading the hundreds of cases within the courts on patients suing Dr's for non disclosure on this sugery, one becomes terribly aware of the major side effects this causes.
