Well, so far this year I myself haven't heard of any openings, period.
The Seattle church-music area is frankly a lot like many other cities, i.e., either the music program director fills vacancies with singers who are long-known items, or (the more-usual case) the soloists hang on to their positions nearly until death.
Srsly.
Which, of course, makes it a bloody PITA to find a gig!
