Principal Artists: Artists who are established as professionals both in vocal development and stage experience in the field of opera. A Principal Artist is someone who has advanced operatic vocal training and has performed leading roles in at least 3 full-length opera productions. Honorarium paid. All roles are double cast.

Apprentice Artists are artists with prior stage experience who have completed all or most of their operatic training. You will have 1-2 coaching sessions on your comprimario or cover responsibilities prior to the start of rehearsals (depending on size of role), participate in 1 master-class given by an industry professional and have a career counseling session at the conclusion of the production. Some roles are double cast. The cost of our Apprentice Artist program is $250 per production.

Student Artists are artists with limited or no stage experience who are in the early stages of their music/vocal studies. Student Artists will perform in the ensemble and may also be asked to cover comprimario roles (some student artists may be considered for comprimario roles). You will attend 1 master-class and have a career counseling session at the conclusion of the opera season. The cost for Student Artists is $100 per production.

Auditions for The Celestial Opera Company Alumni and callbacks will be held on Saturday, July 18th
