and BEFORE I watched the video. If someone has hired her for a talk show, they must be shittin' their breeches after watching that episode. She is NOT someone who can be coherent (let alone eloquent) on the fly.

No, after watching that video and seeing her body language, I am convinced she is stepping down to avoid something. I wouldn't even bat an eye if it came out that she was having an affair...and maybe with the Lt. Governor. She was shaking inside the whole time she was fumbling for words and would barely look at him. Yep, I think they were sleeping together, she tried to break it off and he threatened to out her unless she stepped down and gave him the position. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...or at least that's what I'm putting in the libretto.
