A few years ago Tom Cruise let go his professional PR people and handlers and turned that job over to his sister and all of a sudden he looked like he'd gone nuts. Probably he was always nuts but he had people who knew how to present him.
This year it looks like Republicans do not have any professional handlers. Did they fire them? Did they flee? The SC Gov's press conference was weird and rambling too. Governors and Senators have staff precisely to keep this kind of thing from happening. So did those people flee? Get fired? Or are they just being ignored?
