Diplomacy is all well and good...

but as long as we live in a world with Kim Jong Il and the like, we need the military. Unfortunately, there are still places in this world that are ruled by mentally disturbed, belligerent, egomaniacal people and they view pacificists as prey. I for one am glad we have the military defense that we do at this time.
