hello to all my dutch brothers , today i recieved a parcel from JAN containing issues of the rolling thunder magazine to hand around to some of the members of our group .
when i opened these i thought what a bloody nice chap and then i thought this is going to work , the mag is great and i commend you guys to all the work that you put in to it .
as i said i will be handing these around to the guys and girls in the group , also today 11/6/2005 i will be finishing my fench indochina chaffee i have finished it in dark olive drab with sand colour tigers stripe patterns with a few red brown thrown in for good measure ... it is based on one that was at DIEN BIEN PHU..1954.
now the tricky part comes .mmmmmmmmmmmmmwhat do i start next will it be the ARVN WALKER BULLDOG or will it be the FRENCH M5 STUART from LECLERC,S 2ND ARMOUR DIVSION or will be a crab , weasel fitted with a recol rifle or could even be a M548 CARGO with a QUAD 50 TURRET on what do you think ? please vote now ( hahahahaha ) i know i think when it arrives it might be a m8 GREYHOUND french , yes i know another french subject but it breaks up the norm from doing us army and at shows it gets people asking questions and saying things like ..........they werent used in VIETNAM ......LITTLE DO THEY KNOW PLEASE CAN ANYONE OF YOU HELP I,M AFTER SOME FRENCH MARKINGS , IT,S LOOKING LIKE I MIGHT HAVE TO PAINT THEM ON FREE HAND ....NO PROBLEM ALSO STILL LOOKING FOR THAT ....DAMM ONTOS .
