Several weeks ago I received letter saying I was on the supplemental list for summer 09. So far I have not heard from them and was wondering what to expect. (I know we are hired on an "as needed" bases) Those of you who have done this in the past, do supplemental chorus members generally get hired? If so, when should one expect to hear from these folks? Any input would be appreciated.

They will print your name in the program, though. It's fun to get text messages from friends 10 minutes before a concert that say, "Hey, I didn't know you were singing tonight!" Haha...neither did I!

Someone who has been hired from the sup list might have more info for you on how close to performance you hear. My guess is that it varies.
