Hi All,

I just moved to Louisville, KY and was wondering if anyone could give me stats on the vocal scene in the area. Is there anyone you would recommend as a vocal instructor? Would you recommend traveling to Chicago? Any local tips, etc.? Thank-you any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to go all the way to Chicago

Cincinnati, Columbus and Bloomington are all a lot closer.

Check out the faculty and coaches at UK. Hidden gems there.

I highly recommend Edith Tidwell at Univeristy of Louisville. I studied with her between my masters and my doctorate. If you're going to travel as far as Lexington you might as well go to Cincinnati and look up Bill McGraw or Barbara Honn at CCM, IMHO.
