Oh my god. I saw him in the show a few days ago and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! It was like...actually seeing Rent again. Not seeing actor phone in Rent like they have been for 5 years....(give or take a few cast members.)

I think Tamayra (sp?) has MAJOR acting issues...but the girl can SANG so...what can you do?

I LOVE Justin Johnston. His Angel is great.

MERLE (a former Aida) is back as Joanne. LOVES her.

Anthony...duh. Great.

I hate D'Monroe. yuck.

Ok I have to go to school, but if anyone still reads this and wants a review I'd be happy to write one.

I am interested in hearing from Jill, which version of RENT did she like better: the Broadway or Movie version? Also what did she think of Dreamgirls the movie? Having seen both the movie and the original Broadway production and revival, I have to say that in some ways I found the movie to be better, and in some ways I found the stage version to be better. There is something I find that when a play/musical goes to film it is raised to another level. Having only seen the movie RENT, I can,t imagine it having been any better. But I could also be wrong. Also I really wish you were old enough to have seen the original Broadway Dreamgirls. I,m sure it would have knocked your socks off.
