ok, so i am bi-racial (my mom is white, my dad is black) and my hair is a mix of the two. its redish brown, mostly in the sun its red, and somedays its browner or redder than other days. my problem is- it is damaged WAY beyond fixing it. it was really really curly when i was little, and i have gotten it relaxed straight about 7 or 8 times, but whenever i wash it, it always turns back curly again. and i have unbearable split ends. i trim them, but the next day they always seem to come back! also my hair lacks shine, is very dry, very brittle, frizzy(when curly), and broken. my individual hair strands are very thin, but my hair is thick. i'm also starting to loose a little of my hair at my hairline because i pull it back so tight in a pony tail whenever its curly because its in a huge afro when i wear it down curly, and i dont know what else to do with it. i've tried countless things, but nothing seems to work. sometimes i just wish i could shave off my hair and re-grow it, because i heard that if you do that your hair grows out way better than before. please, if you have any suggestions for making my hair stronger, anti-breakage, less dry, and more shiny, i would greatly appreciate it.
