When will guys be able to wear a bob with bangs?

I'm a guy and i love the look of bob hairstyles. I love the way they swing and fall back into place. Do you think society will ever allow a guy to wear a bob hairstyle with bangs? I actually had my hair cut in a bob once, just below my ears with bangs. I LOVED my hair like that but due to pressure from friends and family I had to cut it. They said that a bob was a girls only style and that I was embarrassing them by having one. In this world where girls can wear their hair anywhere from crewcut to knee length and everything in between, when will it be acceptable for guys to have their hair cut in a bob with bangs? I want so much to let my hair grow back out and get a chin length bob with bangs. Any suggestions and tips are welcome. thanks. Jamie
