BP Newbie Question

When it comes to BP, I seem to be a Villeret guy. In fact my two favorite pieces are the 4063-1542 retrograde in RG, and the 4082-3642 chono in RG or WG.

I think the Villeret is elegant and refined. These may not be the right words, but they are the ones that come to mind.

My questions are as follows:

1) Is there anything about Villeret that is substantially different than other BPs in terms of durability, robustness, reliability?

2) Is there anything about the 4082 chrono movement that I need to be aware of as I plan to let the movement run like a seconds hand all day and night? It's fascinating to watch.

3) For the chrono, I'm inclined towards the RG vs WG, any thoughts or insights?

Thanks very much for the much needed help.
