Dear friends,

Do you know if the new Leman moonphase that will be larger will have the same movement as the one currently available ?

Best regards.

Does the Villeret Moonphase also have correctors under the lugs?

Many thanks

Thanks a lot ! Much appreciated !

Two questions :

1) is it "better" to have the correctors in this position ?

2) am I the only one to prefer the "old" one ? I think 38mm is good. 40mm is really too much, I dislike this "oversize" fashion...

Best regards

Optical and functional differences...

the correctors under the lugs make the case side aesthetically more pleasing, as no pusher holes clutter the case. Additionally, no tools are required to adjust date and moonphase. Your fingernails are sufficient.

Best,
Magnus

I agree with Magnus on this....

I love the idea of the correctors being built into the lugs. There is no tool to loose and the case is cleaner. I think it also shows that Blanc Pain is furthering the art of watchmaking by improving on a very old idea. It is one of those.....why didn't I think of that kind of inventions.

Agreed, I think it's a great innovation. . .

. . .and a real improvement; keeps the smooth outline of the case flank and eliminates the necessity to use a tool to correct date/moonphase.

Incremental improvements such as these that are really value added, plus the new movement, are going to make BP a very exciting brand to watch in the near future IMVHO.
