I agree. Many won't show up and those that will won't do well. I think Spadea will be the best American in Paris. |

I don't think Spadea will even make the round of 64. No doubt. |

Well, Roddick has a better performance on clay than Spadea this year. He reached the finals at Huston & has not played as much as Spadea. He also has a few clay court titles whereas Vinny has 0. Lets not discount Agassi too. His performance at French open speaks for itself & he may do well next week in St. Poelten if he shows up as planned. |

Oh please.
Playing on clay in the USA is very different then playing in Europe on clay.
The reason why roddick has only won St Polten on clay where nobody showed because they were resting.
Also spadea is not the same player andy is, you cant compare.
Andy is just a better player, even though vince beat him in scottsdale.
Roddick has a weapon with his serve, and lets face it, vince serve sucks.
also andy has a huge forehand, vince is just solid with forehand, and his backhand is better.
but maybe vince can turn it around with the help of mental trainer John Murray.
PS Roddick cant win in europe! the players are too good on clay for roddick to win 5 to 7 matches in a row |

Yes I agree Agassi will win St. Poelten and should be the number one seed. Number 2 seed is Dodo Chenney. So Agassi has a good shot at that title. |

The a'mericans are no threat whatsoever in europe. They just better hope Agassi plays in french. |

yup its true, its true, the a'mericans should just skip the french because none of them will pass the third round. Also maybe one of the qualies will actually make the main draw. |

Agassi should retire this year so he can get the respect that he deserves. I hope he does not become another michael jordan and makes a comeback and lowers himself. |

Jordan, hell I hope he tries not to hang on to long much like Chang did last year when he got pasted in the First Round of most tourneys during his retirement parade. |

heh don't ever mention Agassi in the same sentence as Jordan.. Agassi is nowehere near the caliber athlete that MJ or any other NBA stud is.
As for the Aussies, well it sure looks like Flipper is making headways towards a Spadea-like crash out of the top 100 at this rate. |

Clay court tennis is just not the forte for most American players. They just don't have the comfort level on clay, that Europeans and South American players have.
At the end of the day though, I don't think any American players are losing any sleep over this, since there are a lot of guys who do well on Hard courts. |

Heh, heh, heh; Kevin Kim and Jeff Salzenstein made through the qualifying, so get over it!!! heh, heh, heh!!!
And for your information, there WILL be 10 Americans in the Men's Draw and 19 in the Women's Draw. So find something else to amuse yourself. And regardless of the outcome we will really make you mad at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open where we WILL win most of the matches. |
