Any chance that Spadea will be picked for Davis Cup in September?

Hell no, America has much better players than him. I rather have Blake play, or even Robby Ginepri instead of him.

I would pick Spadea. He's playing better than Ginepri, Blake, Fish or Dent. McEnroe has gone with Ginepri and Fish so far, and they haven't done well. I don't think McEnroe will pick Spadea though. He seems to think he's too old.

Spadea deserves to play but Pat is a fricken egghead and will never choose him.

The guy has been the only bright spot in US tennis this year. Great effort to get to the second round at the French. I'll say it again, he has a chance to finish the year as the top American, which would be a great way to cap off his career.

Great match in the 2nd round - mowed down by a qualifier in straight sets. And most of you people praise this guy, I don't get it. Vince Spadea is the pin-up boy for LOSER, a waste of talent. The next 30 match losing streak is just around the corner.
