I find it hard to believe any mother would quantify her sons well-being. Even for that amount of cash. They were, it appears, simply out to grab money. I think he was simply a very naive man that sought to regain the childhood he never had. There is some controversy as to whether he even conceived his children naturally or via IVF. His ranch was transformed into a theme park for the benefit of needy and ill children and it's quite sad that some people misconstrue generosity for perversion.
