Response to To bin, or not to bin, that is the question.

I could save SKDC the cost of any additional, or replacement, bins that it deems I require!
All the council has to do is ask if I would like the bins, or would I be happy with bags for land-fill waste, and I deal with my own recycling waste by disposing of it at a centralised location.

N.B. I am a single occupier of a mid-terrace house without a car, there are four houses in the section, nos. 1 & 4 are at the ends, with 2 & 3 in the middle, and shared access to the rear of all four properties between houses 2 & 3. SKDC has decided that houses 2 & 3 get wheely bins because "we have the space" for them yet 1 & 4 do not, despite the fact that their lands are slightly bigger because they do not have to allow for rear access!

The mind boggles!
