In reflection that was, perhaps a little naive! I would question the suitability of any parent willing to accept cash over justice for their child. I hope they were investigated during the court case.
However, surely its pretty evident that nothing happened to this child as the parents haven't tried plastering their "story" all over trashy magazines, newspapers etc to gain yet more money. Jackson wouldn't have been able to form a libel suit, as it would cause him further hassle.
I still maintain, if there was any truth in the case, it would have been furthered in the media.
