Response to Re: Kerb crunch |
| The Delaines could wait in the Market Place and a lot of the P'boro ones do their turnaround in Morton anyway - perhaps they could improve the service so all buses start and end in Morton - plenty of room for them to wait down near the church, and while theyre at it run a few through to Rippingale as well.
The Delaine already does most of its pickups on the highway - whenever I've used it there are more passengers getting on in the Market Place than at the bus station. Bourne is just an intermediate stop for the Kimes service and you say yourself its ok for them to pick up on the road.
The Grimsby bus could wait its 10 minutes in Peterborough or even somewhere like the layby at Haconby lane end. It's a more pleasant spot for passengers to get off and stretch their legs than a bus station and matey who lives in the caravan there could earn himself a few bob by serving them tea and sandwiches.
