What a strange bloke is Tony Blair. No idea of the damage letting the wealthy rip does to the self-esteem of families on £20,000. It's a trail of destruction that he advocates.
He has his achievements, only someone as odd as Blair could have kept a straight enough face with Paisley and Adams to bring a kind of peace to Northern Ireland.
But, deep down (if there is any depth to him, which I doubt) Blair is a dangerous salesman. He wants to bomb Iran. Hard to think of a more potty idea. That would put the triumphs in Iraq and Afghanistan into the small change category.
