      I don't agree with Geoff at all [how many times have I written that?].

      Murdoch's newspapers include The Times, which is showing signs of life and is certainly an interesting read.

      As for the trade union of barristers who want the job of cross-examining Murdoch, I say bad luck, you didn't get the job. Sour grapes.

      At the risk of stating the obvious, Murdoch is in deep doo doo which is purely self-inflicted, he even corrupted the Yard, that's how serious it was.

      We live in a democracy. It is absolutely right that Tom Watson [Labour] and Louise Mensch [Conservative] should cross-examine moguls.

      You leave it all to barristers and you end up like Italy.
