Brynley is like a drowning man clinging to every straw of possible evidence to support the suspect theory of man-made global warming while spouting the same mantra "I'm right, I'm right!" which should become his family motto, emblazoned on a coat of arms depicting two polar bears extinct (due to the heat) and crossed thermometers, one showing Fahrenheit and the other Celsius, both readings set at boiling point.
He greets each new alleged revelation with unbridled glee and accepts it as an affirmation of his belief while basking in his garden during the current spell of hot weather is an added fillip to his theory that we are all on the way to a climatic Armageddon.
All that is needed is common sense, so sadly lacking with those who relentlessly pursue a cause. For every web page devoted to this theory there are a dozen that refute it and some of the reasons why can be found here. In short, Brynley should get out more but let his fingers do the walking.
