      I think what you're saying is that qualified people leave this country to earn higher wages elsewhere. That seems like an argument for salaries to be increased not reduced.

      RAF pilots don't have to pay for their training whereas with student fees etc those who train at university do.

      Are you envious of doctor's salaries by any chance?
