I am surprised that no one has mentioned the latest recommendation from our Local MP to parliament for means testing OAP freebies. This is on top of not voting for an EU referendum or refusing to join in the campaign to keep fuel costs down, despite being elected on the promise of a fuel stabiliser. If our pensioners received a decent pension the benefits would not be required. wealthier people have paid more tax and NI during their lifetime, unlike the millions who claim benefits having never paid anything into the system.
