      I have been researching the Wake family/families for a very long time indeed, and would suggest that I have more information on them than anyone else in this country. This largely because so very much of my research stems from hitherto unpublished source material. However, I have paid scant attention to Hereward the Wake, as he is half submerged in myth. I have no doubt that he existed, however.
