First off...FKiSS and Cherry KiSS are not mutually exclusive. FKiSS is a code for effects, Cherry KiSS is a way to create 24-bit cel files. CKiSS only has one real advantage: the ability to use more than 256 colours. Unfortunately, its positive side is strongly outweighed by the accompanying large file size and compatibility issues. In other words, don't use it unless you absolutely have to use that many colours. Unnecessary use of the format has given it a bad reputation-I can't say I haven't contributed to this factor. ^^;; As far as "getting the most out of tools"...it really depends on your set concept and what program(s) you're working with.
