In regard to Mac viewers there are three, if you discount earlier versions of two of them.
Stiles' French Kiss viewer is the most stable program, but crashes for Excessive Palette sets, doesn't allow full color, and the FKiSS options are limited. [Development stopped a few years ago.]
EMK's viewer is newer, but less stable. Developed from Stiles' code it allows full color {but not transparency} and doesn't crash except on the most incompetent of the excessive palette and hybrid sets. Although newer than Stiles' viewer I don't think it allows any more FKiSS code. I think version 6 is current. Mostly it has been getting more stable. [Early versions crashed frequently at random. Now it is rarely at random.]
Cherry Kiss for the Power Mac is a really old Japanese viewer. I believe it predates the development of FKiSS, which is why none is supported. It does have full color and transparency. It has value to Mac KiSS artists for testing out transparency levels, but not much else
