Re: in/out, collide/apart Mac/PC

Mac/PC difference that really tripped me up is that using in/out on PFK allows you to trigger in/out events when the "machine" moves an object in or out. On a Mac, in/out does not get triggered unless an object is hand-dragged in or out of the other object. I would do the most elaborate coding using in/out, avoiding collide/apart for my Mac friends, only to discover that much of my in/out code did not work for them either.

So what "I" would like for EMK to do is allow recognition of machine-moved in/out events.

Actually the fact PFK does this is kind of a bug; it's a misinterpretation of the fkiss proposal, in/out should only be triggered by the user moving the objects in question. In fact PFK is the only viewer I know that behaves in this way; the other windows viewers don't, i'm fairly certain no Mac or Linux viewer does either.
