I think it's a little odd that she would brag about it since it was extremely clumsy and she was caught right away. I mean, sending in a doll made by Yav with Yav's documentation is pretty obvious. Sending one that contains special viewer-testing codes which I can't help but notice made it impossible for her to get away with it. I suppose, if her only goal was to get people to talk about her, she was successful. Maybe she didn't want free subscription time at all but, rather, just wanted attention.
In any case, this story does have a bright side: I'd forgotten all about that particular test set and, now that I've been reminded of it by Sara's message here, it has been very useful in finding a bug in the new KiSS viewer I'm developing. Yay!
