A question... as usual :)

Thanks for the story about EQ! I do like her sets very much, and they did a lot to encourage me to try and make a doll of my own. "Ilysa" is my favourite doll by EQ (she is based on a character from Chrono-Trigger game).

The question is: what is the unofficial policy about changing other's KISS sets? For example, I sometimes add snap-to option to my favourite dolls, if they didn't have it. Or make some FKISS effects (say - blinking), or draw an item. Or sometimes correct minor mistakes in coding or items allignment (they happen sometimes).
I know that it is strongly illegal to post those modified sets anywhere without a permission from their author. But is it OK to make and keep them? Or would those authors be glad to know that those sets were modified and to see the results? Is it polite to contact them if it is my only reason to do so?

I dared to add snap-to to the "Jun" KISS set by Jamie and you. I don't think it was a big improvement though. I just love this set, and I also love Jamie's precise artwork and your imagination!
