This sounds quite interesting... scratches head Have you recently been reading historical romances, by any chance...? ^^;;
You aren't the first to ask me this question grin But nah, not recently, basically got the idea from Moulin Rouge.
But...
Whee~ Now we're starting...
First thing that caught my eye: the names are kinda weird. sweatdrop It might be easier to just call them... I dunno, the Marquis of Montmartre, or something like that... you know, after actual places in France. shrugs
Agreed. But I am talking abt SD characters, and fitting them into a totally French environment, ie. titles coming from actual places in France kinda kills the mood for me. It's like I might as well change the names of the SD guys and just pass the story off as an original story instead.
Zeynel (who helped me with the naming and French translations and history) did mention this to me. But when you say weird, do you mean it sounds awkward, ie. there can never be titles like these in France, or weird as in out-of-place with the settings?
An answer would help me in the naming shit, which quite a number have pointed out, sticks out like a sore thumb.
Second thing: just being picky, but it should be Le Théâtre des Plaisirs Noirs... you know, adjectives after nouns and all that? ^^;;
Like I said, I got Zeynel to help me with the translations, and she's french.
Oh hell, anyone with a 3rd opinion here?
Anyway, all in all, I like the whole idea... very different...
I'll take that as a compliment then grin
