la·pel (l-pl), n.
The part of a garment, such as a coat or jacket, that is an extension of the collar and folds back against the breast.
So, by wide lapel, I meant that the collar of her shirt/sweater/coat was wide enough to show her throat and collarbone. ^^ Perhaps I should look for a better phrasing...
Stephen King boogieman story? Which one? The only one I can think of with something like a boogieman is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Which also sort of inspired me for the title of this fanfic... ^^
But, dankyu, dankyu for the review! ^^ I probably should have waited 'til I had a part one before posting this, but I'm always impatient. ^^
Will get the next part out quickly! |
